After winning the bid and beginning construction, ASC encountered unanticipated underground site conditions that could cause major delays.
ASC was able to quickly rethink and modify the production plan and schedule to shift crews from the parking garage to work on the residential podium slab. This avoided a major delay and allowed ASC crews to not lose any production time while delivering both the parking garage and apartment building on schedule. In addition, since staging and laydown areas were not available on the project site, ASC developed an engineered staging plan for the adjacent parking garage. This allowed ASC to build its column-hung tables in advance of going elevated.
